May Day
You say you want to be strong at Brussels,
to flex your muscles.
You keep reiterating STRONG.
Economy strong
Security strong
Great Britain strong
You want us to be the Continent’s strongest,
that you’ll fix it, albeit the Kingdom’s exit.
In Spring you went to the people
your strength indubitable.
You said, a vote cast for coalition – Mayhem.
That’s as may be, May Queen;
but if strong amounts to might
Is it right?
It might so easily go WRONG.
