Autumn
On his mouth-organ
Autumn plays
in woodland ways.
They love it, the leaves!
Away they waltz
on the arm of the breeze.
Someone said they are dead
which no-one believes.
On his mouth-organ
Autumn plays
in woodland ways.
Maurice Carême
