Easter Monday. Bank holiday. Your editor offers apologies for having failed to post a poem this morning. Had a long lie, then family came to visit. However, so as not to upset any individual poet by offering such a truncated day’s posting, I shall simply lob in one of my own short pieces. It’s not a Spring poem. Indeed, it’s not much of a poem at all. It is a found poem, folks, and I cannot even give you the provenance. I read an advertisement somewhere. Today is Day 485 of the daily new poems.
