After the Troubadour
There is this great photograph
of Martin and Bob at the Troubadour.
And he says, that’s Martin not Bob,
that after, they went back to his
It was so cold
that Martin got out a samurai sword,
a trophy his uncle had brought back from the war,
and set about a piano for firewood.
“Hey man,” says Bob “you can’t do that
it’s a musical instrument.”
“It’s a piece of shit,” says Martin,
as he hacks and hacks.
“STOP,” yells Bob,
and Martin does,
“can I have a go.”
